Network Licensing is set up in the following stages: A single network license allows several clients to use the software. The server administers the licenses to the clients as required. Network licensing allows you to centralize license management by installing licenses on a single server rather than on each individual client machine. RobotStudio must be restarted after activation. Upon completion, RobotStudio is activated and ready for use. Proceed through the wizard, selecting the license key file when requested. Under Manual Activation, select the option Step 3:Install a license file. Relaunch the activation wizard and go through the steps until you reach the Activate a Standalone License page. The result will be a license key file that should be saved and transferred back to the computer having the installation awaiting activation. On that computer, open a web browser, go to and follow the instructions given. Use removable storage, such as a USB stick, to transfer the file to a computer with an Internet connection.
Proceed through the wizard, enter your activation key and save the license request file to your computer. If your computer is not connected to Internet, you must proceed with manual activation.Ĭreate a license request file by selecting the option Step 1:Create a license request file. If your computer has Internet access, then RobotStudio gets activated automatically, otherwise manual activation is required. Standalone licenses are activated through the Activation Wizard. If you accidentally activated a network license through the standalone activation procedure, the license becomes invalid. If you have a standalone license, refer Activating a standalone license and if you have a network license, refer Activating a network license. The activation procedures are different for standalone and network licenses.
